Unhappy musical note with a drop flag tail how to?

Couple yrs ago a student did a fantastic sixteenth-note graphic, I said "How do you do that", "skinz," he said. He knew Photoshop, why'd he use skins (and did he use this particular skinz, he wasn't talking about a software we don't have in the lab, I don't think. How would I create a cool musical note with this droopy three flag tail? Skinz? or? v. Feb28_08
