With a certain player -- let's call him TW -- not in the British Open field, the door is wide open for some of the top golfers in the world to capture the Claret Jug. TW's absence, however, puts even more pressure on the likes of Phil Mickelson to win a first British Open, writes ESPN.com's Gene Wojciechowski.
