I like this quote a lot.

Many of us are asking for a perfect parent who could give us everything we want..
But have we asked ourselves "Are we a perfect daughter/son to them that they wished us to be?"

I like that qoute too.

I know I don't wish for mom but sometimes I wish she didn't do some things that she does or would be open minded when it comes to guys me and my sisteres date. True though that I am so not the perfect daughter. I don't get in trouble in school as much and get good grades but I'm still rather opinionated and can really argue with her. Plus I could defiantely help around the house more. she probably wishes I would just do what she wants, get great grades, and not have boyfriends until I'm done with college (an actual qoute from her that I don't obey).

Yep,it's really a nice msg..
coz we often hear rants from children these days but they never realized that they may not be what their parents wished to have.

But sometimes it also depends on how children are raised up by their parents.

Yep but that usually happens.It's unfair for parents who tried their best to be a good parents for children but still that's what they hear.

I'm not a perfect daughter at all. There's no such thing just like there isn't a perfect parent. I like that quote a lot.

I guess it couldn't be helped...
since there are many factors that may affect a person's growth and in the end they tend to fight with their parents about it.

Yep,but as long as our parents don't abuse us and tyr provide what we really need,it really hurts for them to hear from their children that they're not doing u good.. though i know it depends on how ur parents raised u but there are just other kids who are like that..
coz u know yesterday,we had an activity in school and the parents of someone I know attended without telling her.. they just surprised her but u know she freaked out and raised her voice telling how she didn't like when she is not being told.. but i don't see anything wrong with what her parents did...I'd be even happy if my parents would surprise me!

That's a very good question. And as I thing I'm in the oldest groups

and I got bad moment lately, here is my opinion.
Perfect parents aren't existing at all, perfect children aren't either

The best is when parents and children are open to each other, and let the other live their own life to grow up (and older...).

Whatever a kid will do, the parents will always be happy or (in a bad situation) on the side of their child. The same should happens also the way around, but you know, hormons rules the youth

Well, I may be old fashion to say this but try to love your parent and show them your care, because there will be one time, sometime sooner than expected, where it'll be too late to say "mom, dad, I love you", and regrets thing you wished have done with or for them. I know this, it's happens right now since last october 2005.

I hope I'm not too sad
