Homework

There has been some controversy as if they should have homework. Do you think that schools should be allowed to give us homework or they only be allowe to give us work in school?

I would certainly like school alot more without the homework. But then we would have to work ALOT harder in class. I think they should like... give us enough time to do everything then what we don't get done is homework. Which is pretty much what most my teachers did this past year so it's all good.

Yes, Hate homework especially when I don't understand it. OH, and our teachers like give us an assignment then move on to something else so we don't get time to work on it in class. That is usually what our s.s teacher does anyways..

Most my teachers gave us time. But not all. I think it's more fair if they do. Because alot of people, me included, do alot of extra cirricular things around the school. And so I don't always have enough time. Because I'll be out doing something with like a club and such, yah know. And it's not like I'mma putting it before school but they incourage (sp?) you to be involved. But there isn't always time to be involved and focus on school. So that's kinda a pain.

Yes. I hate it when a teacher talks about something one day. And something totally differen't the next day.

Yeah, I have sports and stuff after school too. And then I don't have anytime to do it..

Yeah. I've got sports. I've got Speech. I've got theater. And a few other clubs. So I go from practice. Then go do my speech for my coach. To Rehersal. And then I go home at like 10 and do my homework. Then I get up at like 5 to go to Marching Band. That's my schedule in the fall. So I get like zero sleep because of my homework most nights. And then like all my weekends I'mma gone for either games or speech tourneys. So I don't have time then either. Crazy. And with my classes next year I'mma most likely have to drop an extra cirricular. =\

I think work belongs in school. You should be able to have a break out of school. So i dont think people should get homework.

I espically hate homework over vacation and summer break. It's called a break, not time for us to do work at home and not in school. Between chores and homework we don't have very much time to ourselfs.

I agree. That's my biggest thing. Like over Thanksgiving break last year we hadda write an essay for english. That was the worst.
