yes, that is one reason.
it's nice to be a member if the leader isn't too bosy and is someone who is willing to listen to what others say. But if the leader is someone who always boss everyone around and doesn't listen for opinions or advice, then I'd rather take the stand as a leader...lol

Hehehe yes..
but other than that,it would never be easy to be a leader..
i always have that prob when i got members who do no participate...
it causes me headache really and annoyed me a lot.

usually i lead things in school. but mostly cuz i get a sucky group as my partners and i wanna get an A.

I am mostly the "pretending" to be a curious memeber hehe....always makes me look smart and like im paying attentioin... like pfffttt leader umm i'd rather watch tv than go to the library on sunday ... yup -.-'' im just lazy and i like ketchup chips

I acutally just had this conversation with my friend the other day.
My answer:
I'm really neither.
But at the same time I'm both.
I march to the beat of my own drummer, but, I don't expect people to follow me.

But I voted for leader.
Because I'm not a crowd follower.

I am always the leader, I have real power issues. I love taking the world on my shoulders because it makes accomplishing somthing that much more wonderful. On top of that I've always found it better to make and enforce the rules the obey and fear them.

most of the time i am a leader.. lol no that doen't mean that i am bossy.

but it doese mean that i am willing to step up and take charge to make sure everything runs smoothly
