| Long Pointless Story | | Yea, so, I started writing this story way back in November. I usually just add bits and pieces of information when things happen or when I get bored. Welp, the story is somewhat based on true life characters, I suppose. But, I changed the names. Anyways, it's a bit long, so, I don't expect many[if any at all] to respond. However, if you would like me to keep on writing or post more, you wish is my command. xD [Yea, the beginning is sort of weak..so deal. haa] ::
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
Callie Jay Wilson. Immature, brave, and outgoing, are just a few of the words that would be used to describe such a girl. Callie is the type of girl who likes people for who they are, not who they’re wearing. Girls who aren’t friends with Callie, tend to hate her, because she’s not afraid to speak her mind and doesn’t listen to what other people think about her. Her close circle of friends consists of, Cammie Alex, McKenna and Alyssa, who are both sisters, her brother Josh, and her boyfriend Jake.
“Ready to go to the park?” Callie’s friend McKenna called to Callie from across the room.
“Yeah, almost ready, just give me a minute.” Callie called from somewhere inside of her extremely small closet.
“Remind me again why we’re getting all dressed up, just to go to the park?” McKenna asked.
“Because, McKenna, we’re girls, that’s what we do!”
“Oh yeah, I must’ve forgot.” McKenna replied sarcastically.
“Hey Dora, got any plans tonight?” Callie’s older brother Josh appeared in the doorway.
“Yeah, Diego, McKenna and I are going to the park.” Callie came out of the closet and stood before her brother. Josh and Callie always joked around and messed with each other, Josh was Callie’s best friend, she could totally be herself around him. The two always obsessed over some kid show or toy, their latest obsession was Dora the Explorer and My Little Pony.
“Aw, so your saying your going to leave me all alone tonight?” Josh stuck out his bottom lip.
“Oh Josh, I’d never leave you alone,” she smiled, “you’ll always have your little pony.” Callie went back into her room and grabbed the pony that was sitting on her desk and handed it to her brother. “See, play with her until I get back.”
“Aw. Thanks. And maybe, if we get really bored, I can braid her hair.” Josh clapped his hands together.
“Oh, you could, but you don’t know how to braid, remember?” Callie patted her brother’s shoulder in sympathy. “Hey, McKenna, you ready to leave?” She shouted to McKenna.
“As I do recall, you were the was who wasn’t ready, not I.” McKenna laughed and appeared beside Callie.
“Hello Josh.” McKenna said and looked Josh in the eyes, almost as if she was challenging to say something back.
“McKenna. Long time no see.” Josh said and looked back at Callie.
“Oh, come on you guys! What’s with you two? You are acting like your five.” Callie laughed, “Okay, that made no sense, because we all act like we’ve five, and I’m always saying how cool that is, but, why are you guys acting like this? So what, you guys went out a couple years back, that was awhile ago, get over it!”
“Fine.” McKenna said and grabbed her purse phone and started walking down the stairs.
“Josh, I need you to be nice.” Callie said.
“I am nice. She isn’t.” Josh whined.
She laughed, “I love you, stupidface.”
“I know.” Josh laughed and hugged Callie, then she ran down the stairs and headed off with McKenna to the park.
Callie pushed her legs out into the air, and then she pushed them back.
“Okay, so the rules are, we get as high as we can, then, once we agree on we are at the highest we can get, we’ll jump, as far as we can, on the count of three.”
McKenna took a deep breath and said, “I’m so gonna beat you.”
“That’s...such a lie.” Callie took a breath, “I’m so gonna win, and you know it.”
“Keep thinking that, Callie.” McKenna and Callie swung in silence for a while, just swinging, then, McKenna announced, “I’m ready.”
“Ready to lose?” Callie laughed and started counting, “One..two..three.” Callie said and they both jumped off the swings. Callie sat there on the ground for a while, then she turned to see where McKenna landed.
“Wow.” Callie smiled and walked over to McKenna, “I told you I was going to win, you just weren’t ready for it yet.” Callie giggled and McKenna made a face at her.
“So, you wanna stay the night?” Callie checked her clock on her phone, “It’s getting sorta late out.”
“Meh..no thanks. I’ll just take my car back on home.” McKenna smiled.
“I hate you and your sixteen year old license self.” Callie laughed and hugged McKenna. “Call me when you get home.”
“I will.” McKenna smiled then hopped into her small Pinto.
“You need a new car!” Callie shouted.
“Yeah, well, at least I have one.” McKenna laughed and rode away.
Callie walked back into the house, laughing to herself, where she spotted her brother in the living room eating a bag of pretzels watching Blues Clues. Callie sat down next to him and put her feet on the coffee table.
“Those are my shoes.” Josh said, his mouth full of pretzels.
“Give me a pretzel.” Callie said, without even glancing at Josh.
“Here.” Josh said and handed her one pretzel, “Now, as I was saying, those are my shoes!”
Callie took her time chewing her pretzel, and then she turned and faced her brother.
“I want another pretzel.” She said. Josh opened his mouth to speak, but Callie held up a finger, and continued to talk, “These aren’t your shoes.”
“Yes, they are.”
“No, they aren’t.”
“I want proof! Proof I tell you.” Josh laughed and poked Callie in her stomach.
“Well, for one, my shoe size is like four sizes smaller then you, you can try these shoes on for size if you want. Or, you can look down.” Josh looked down and saw he has on his black and white vans, he has just been arguing about with his sister moments before.
“Told you.” Callie smiled and took the pretzel bag and headed to her room upstairs.
Josh sat there quietly for a second then he said to himself, “She took my pretzels.”
Callie sat on her bed in her room eating pretzels and talking to her friend Alyssa on the phone.
“Aw. Alyssa, I’m really happy for you, Kody seems like a great guy for you.
“Yeah, he is pretty great.” Alyssa said.
“Yeah, and you deserve only the best.
Alyssa laughed, “Thanks you’re the best, Callie. So, how are you and Jake?”
Callie didn’t hear what Alyssa said, she was to busy walking over to her window.
“Hello!? Callie are you there?” Alyssa asked, raising her voice.
“Yeah, yeah I’m here Alyssa, it’s just I heard something at my window.”
“Are you okay? Is Josh there?” Alyssa asked frantically.
“Yeah, I’m fine, and Josh is here.” Callie sighed and looked away from her window. Then she heard the noise again. She spun around quickly and found a face staring back at her from outside her window.
Callie smiled and spoke into the phone, “Hey, Alyssa, I’ll call you back later.” Callie hung up the phone, opened her window and stepped onto her balcony.
“You know, we have a pretty much front door. Why don’t you use it?” Callie laughed.
“I know, I know. It’s just more fun this way.” Jake, Callie’s boyfriend, smiled and kissed her. “And besides your brother hates me.”
“He does not!” Callie hit Jake playfully.
“He does too!” Jake smiled and sat down on Callie’s bed.
“No, he doesn’t, he’s just a bit over protective.” Callie sighed and sat down next to Jake.
“A bit?” He smiled and looked over at Callie.
“Yes, a bit. He’s my brother, and my best friend, he just doesn’t want to see me get hurt.” Callie sighed again and ran her fingers through Jake’s hair.
“I would never hurt you, Callie. I love you.” Jake smiled and kissed Callie on top of her head.
“I love you too.” Callie smiled and moved closer to Jake, and then drifted off to sleep.
Josh knocked on the door lightly, and when there was no response, he walked into his sister’s room. “WHAT’S GOING ON HERE!?” Josh demanded.
“What?” Callie groggily sat up and looked at the clock on her desk. “Oh no.” she signed. “Jake get up.” Callie shook Jake.
“I said, what the heck is going on here?” Josh demanded again.
Jake looked up at Josh and sighed, “Dude, chill. We were just sleeping. We didn’t do anything.”
“Oh, and that makes me feel so much better coming from you.” Josh replied sarcastically and looked at Callie.
“Nothing happened!” She said.
“Prove it!” Josh demanded.
“Oh, and how would you like me to do that?” Callie said, raising her voice. Josh just stood there, waiting for Callie to say something else.
“Take a freaking pregnancy test? Would that make you feel better Josh? Would it? Would you trust me and Jake then?” Callie screamed at her brother.” Callie screamed at her brother.
“I should go now.” Jake said quietly.
“I’ll walk you out.” Callie looked down, not wanting to look at Josh, and walked Jake to the door.
“I’m sorry about this.” Callie sighed and leaned against the doorway.
“It’s alright.” Jake said.
“No, it’s not alright, he shouldn’t treat you like this.”
“We’ll figure this out.” Jake smiled and kissed her forehead. “Go talk to your brother.” He whispered.
“Okay.” Callie smiled and watched Jake watch away, then she closed the door and walked upstairs. When she reached her room, she hesitated for a second, then she walked in. In her room, she found Josh sitting on her bed, face in his hands. Callie walked over to her bed, sat down, and wrapped Josh into a hug.
They sat there in silence for a while. “I’m Sorry.” Josh choked out.
Callie sat there, she just nodded, she couldn’t think of anything to say.
Josh sighed, “I feel like, ever since Mom and Dad died, it’s my responsibility to make sure nothing bad happens to you, at all.”
Callie nodded again, they both sat there in silence. “Do you hate Jake?” Callie asked.
Josh sighed, “No.” He looked at her, “I really don’t hate him, but if he hurts you in any way, I’m going to have to break him in half.”
Callie smiled and threw her arms Josh wrapping him into a hug, “I love your over protective self.”
“I love you too.” Josh said.
“I’m making some Mac and Cheese, you want?” Callie called to Josh from the kitchen.
“I want, I want.” Josh smiled from on the couch. “And don’t forget the pretzels! Oh, and pop.”
Callie laughed, juggling a pot of Mac and Cheese, two forks, a bag of half eaten pretzels and two bottles of orange pop.
“Amazing, what such a love fest does to your appetite.” Callie laughed and set the food at the table. “This looks disgusting.” Callie said as she sat down onto the couch next to Josh.
“Yeah,” Josh sighed, “now, let’s dig in!” He took a couple of pretzels, crushed then up and put them into the macaroni, “this is for flavor,” he explained, and this poured some orange soda into his macaroni, “and this is for appearance.” He laughed.
Callie made fake gagging noises, “That in unbelievably disgusting!” She laughed, “You totally ruined that pot of cheesy goodness.”
“No.” Josh said with a grin on his face, “I totally made it more better.” He laughed and took a bite of it. “Ew!” He said, and spit it back into the bowl, “It is gross!”
“Told you so!” Callie giggled and pulled out her cell phone to order a pizza.

--------------------------------------------------------------
Later that day, Callie was walking to Jake’s house, mumbling to herself about how she wished she was sixteen and had a car of her own, even if it was a piece of junk like McKenna’s. When she was a couple houses down from Jake’s house she looked into his driveway and noticed Jake’s friend, Kyri, had her car in the driveway. She peered through the window and saw Jake and Kyri laughing as he lead her to the door. Callie didn’t know Kyri all that well, and was about to wave to her, but stopped when she saw Jake lean closer to Kyri for a kiss. From what started off as a kiss, soon turned into a make out session. Callie refused to cry, but she was devastated. She couldn’t help to think, ‘Maybe it was just a friendly kiss.’ She knew how stupid that sounded, it was obvious Kyri had a ‘thing’ for Jake, she just didn’t know that he had felt the same way. She stood there for a few moments longer, then as she noticed Kyri climb into her car, she ran off in the opposite direction, towards her home. Standing outside her house, she breathed in deep breaths and wiped her face, she didn’t want her brother to see her like this. Before going inside, she whipped out her cell phone and called Alyssa.
“Hey Alyssa, babe.” She sniffed, “Can you come over?”
“Of course, baby girl. What’s wrong, you sound terrible.” Alyssa said with confusion.
Callie let out a sob, “I’ll tell you when you get here. Just come, okay? And bring McKenna, I need you guys.”
“Alright, love,” Alyssa said as she was getting her coat on, “I’ll be there in a jiffy, and I’ll pick up McKenna too.”
“Thanks.” Callie said and hung up.
Callie walked into the house in a huff, forgetting her brother was home, and slammed the door.
“Whoa there, who died?” Josh asked from on the stairway.
My love life, Callie thought to herself, “No one,” she said emotionless, “I invited McKenna and Alyssa over, hope you don’t mind.”
“When have I ever minded who my Dora invited over to this old house?” He scratched his head, “Except for your boyfriend.”
“Please, can we not talk about Jake right now!?” Callie snapped.
“Whoa, who gave you the crazy pills? What’s wrong, babe?”
“Nothing.” Callie sighed, walked past Josh on the stairway, and went to her room.
“Not so fast!” Josh said as he followed Callie to her room, “Did something happen tonight? You know you can tell me anything.” Josh looked Callie in the eyes.
She sighed, and just as she was about to tell him, the doorbell rang, nonstop for about a minute.
“I guess I should answer that.” Callie got up and went to get the door. Josh just stared at her, stunned, they always told each other everything, always.
Before Callie could get to the door, it busted open.
“Callie! Baby doll, what wrong?” McKenna and Alyssa both ran over to Callie and wrapped her into a hug.
“You sounded absolutely horrid on the phone, deary.” Alyssa said.
“Yeah, I probably did. I feel horrible too.” Callie sighed.
“Wanna go for a walk?” Alyssa asked, “Get some fresh air.”
“Yeah, I think I need that.” Callie said and grabbed her coat from the coat hook and headed out the door, with Alyssa and McKenna right behind her.
Once they were about a block down, Callie finally spoke up, “I think I want to break up with Jake.”
“What!?” Alyssa and McKenna said in union. “Why?” McKenna asked.
“Well, because, I was on my way to his house, we had a date tonight, and I just saw him and Kyri kissing.” Callie sighed. “She obviously likes him, and now I know exactly how he feels about her,” she paused for a moment, “and me.”
“Oh, love, I’m so sorry.” Alyssa’s eyes were full of sympathy.
“I knew he was a jerk right from the beginning.” McKenna said.
“You did not. You liked him, thought he was good for me.” Callie let out a small laugh.
“She’s right.” Alyssa smiled.
“Well, I’m going to break that weasel in half.” Said Josh, sneaking up behind them, making the three girls jump.
“Josh!’ They all said in union, “Where’d you come from?” Callie asked.
“Well, little sis, when a man and women love each other..” Josh started to say, when Callie punched him in the shoulder.
“You know what I mean you jerk. You were eavesdropping, admit it.”
“That, I was.” Josh admitted, “You seemed so full of pain back at the house, I needed to know what was bugging you.” Josh said and Callie’s eyes widened. “Please don’t punch me again.” Josh said and put his hand over his shoulder to protect where she had punched him last time.
“I wasn’t going to, honest.” Callie smiled, “It’s just that, Josh, you such a great brother.” Callie wrapped her arms around Josh tight and gave him a hug. “I’m sorry I gave you such crap about how protective you were being.” Tears were now falling from Callie’s face, as Josh released Callie from the hug. “Babe. It’s okay. This guy was obviously completely stupid for breaking your heart. And the more protective I was being, the more I was pushing you away, and you know it.” Josh sighed.
“I guess your right.” Callie tried to smile, “Hey, why don’t ya’ll go back to the house, pop a movie in or something, start some popcorn.”
“What about you?” Alyssa asked.
“I’ll be there in a little while, I just need some time alone.”
“You sure?” McKenna asked.
“I’ll be fine, just go on back to my place and I’ll be there faster then you can say supercalifragilisticexpialidocious.”
“Okay, if you say so.” Josh said and led Alyssa and McKenna back to their house.
Callie walked around aimlessly for a while, then after making a few left turns, she ended up at the park she and McKenna were at the other night. She walked over to the bench and plopped herself down on it. She leaned forward and put her head in her head in her hands, and drifted off. |

| Re: Long Pointless Story | | And here's the last bit. [yeaa this is really long. haa. FYI if you want me to post more, the sections won't be as long as this. haa.]
“Carrot stick for a damsel in distress?” Said a familiar voice.
“Alex!” Callie said with much enthusiasm and gave him a great hug, barely knocking him off the bench.
“Whoa. I should go on vacation more often.” Alex said sarcastically, hugging Callie back, this time nearly knocking her off the bench.
“I missed you so much! You look absolutely great!” She smiled and ruffled him hair.
“Yeah, but, how come you don’t? What happened to you, babe?”
“I’m breaking up with Jake.” Callie sighed, not wanted to go through the story again, “I saw him kissing Kyri.”
“Oh, what a jerk!” Alex said, getting angry now.
“Yeah, you always didn’t like him all that much.” Callie smiled.
“Yeah. That’s extremely true.” Alex sighed, still angry with Jake, then smiled, “I broke up with Jessie.”
“What? Why?” Callie said.
“Because. She wasn’t happy that I was always away or on vacation. Said I didn’t spend much time with her, claimed I was spending all my free time with you.” He smiled again and pushed a strand of Callie’s hair behind her ear.
Callie smiled and leaned in to kiss Alex, just as a car pulled up, “Callie get in the car!” Jake yelled. Callie turned her head, causing Alex to kiss Callie’s ear.
“Jake!” She yelled and stood up. “How dare you tell me to get into that car with you, not after what happened last night!”
“Last night?” Jake questioned, “I never saw you last night, that’s the thing!” Jake got out of his car and walked closer to Callie.
“You may not have seen me, but I sure did see you…and Kyri!” Alex was now by Callie’s side.
Jake gulped, “You saw that?”
“Yeah.” Callie said and looked down.
“Look, baby, it meant nothing to me.” Jake said and put his arm around Callie’s shoulder.
“No, Jake! Don’t you give me that crap about how it meant nothing to you! You know you like her, and that’s why you were kissing her.” Callie sighed, “Jake, you and me…we’re over. ” Callie put her hand in Alex’s, “Come on Alex, let’s go.”
“Yeah, well, I hope you have a nice life with Alex!” Jake shouted as Callie and Alex walked off.
Callie sighed, “Forget about him.” Alex said.
“Yeah, I plan on it.” Callie said. “Oh shit!” Callie said.
“What is it?” Alex asked.
“It’s morning!” Callie sighed.
“Yeah, babe, cheer up, the sun is shining, the birds are chirping, what’s the problem?” Alex asked.
Callie laughed, “Funny story, last night, we were all on a walk, McKenna, Alyssa, Josh and I, and I told them to head on home, and that I’ll be there in a little while. But, I must have dozed off in the park. Hence the reason I was found by some crazy man in the park this morning.”
“Hey, I am not a man, I’m a young boy.” Callie laughed and leaned in closer to Alex and he put his arm about her shoulder.
“So, wanna come over to my place? I’m sure we’ll find the whole gang over there!”
“Sure your brother won’t mind?” Alex asked.
“Mind? No way! He likes you, and besides, he spent the night with too girls last night, I bet he’s dying to see someone like you.” Callie laughed.
“Alright, I’m convinced,” Alex smiled, “and besides, I’m willing to go anywhere you are, my pretty.” He laughed.
Callie stopped, “So here we are, my casa.”
Alex turned to face Callie, “There’s something I want to give you.”
“Really? What is-” Alex cut Callie off by kissing her, right on the lips. Just as they were making out the door opened, and out came Josh, “Well, looks like someone got over a breakup real quick.”
Callie opened her eyes and turned towards Josh, “It’s not what it seems.”
“My sister is kissing the air, it’s exactly the way it seems.” Josh said with a chuckle.
“What?” Callie spun around to where Alex had been previously standing. “Where’d he go?”
“Where’d who go, babydoll?” Josh smirked.
“No.. no one.” Callie sighed then walked into the house, when a smile immediately formed on her face. “What..”
“Ssh!” Josh said and put a finger up to his lips. “You’ll wake them.”
Callie looked at McKenna, who was sleeping in an awkward position on the stairs, and then over at Alex, who was sleeping, halfway off the couch.
“They are so cute.” Callie said as she made her way into the kitchen. “What did you all do last nigh?” Callie continued, looking at Josh.
“Well, we burned the popcorn, and we didn’t get to watch any movies because everything we have, we’ve all seen at least three times, so, we stayed up, talking, waiting for you.” Josh smiled and put his hand on Callie’s face.
“Look, I’m fine. Absolutely fine. I’ve never been better, seriously, I’m over Jake.” Callie smiled to prove that she was fine. “Especially after I ran into him at the park, I’m totally over him.” Callie said under her breath.
“What?” Josh whipped his head around and looked at his sister, “Ah! Whiplash!” He cracked a smile and put his head over his neck, “You saw Jake last night?”
“Actually, it was more like this morning.” Callie smiled and shrugged it off like it was nothing.
“Oh, it’s is morning, isn’t it?” Josh let out a small laugh. “What kept you out so late, Dora?”
“I fell asleep on the park bench.” Callie said, as Josh gave her a ‘look’.
“What?” Callie said louder now, “I really did.” She whined and laughed.
“Your one interesting character, Callie Jay.” He laughed and messed up her hair. “You have park bench hair.” He smiled.
“Whatever.” Callie laughed, not bothering to fix her hair.
McKenna, Alyssa and Josh were now awake in the living room watching television, Blues Clues, and Callie was making breakfast in the kitchen.
“What kind of cereal to ya’ll want?” Callie hollered over her shoulder.
“Fruity Pebbles.. Frosted Flakes.. Trix!” Shouted three different voices.
Callie laughed and looked in her cupboard and mumbled to herself, “Recess it is.” She laughed as she pulled the box of cereal out of the cupboard and over to the window where they kept the bowls in a higher cupboard. Just was she was reaching for a bowl, Alex appeared at the window.
“Hm, I didn’t know it was morning workout time.” He said.
“Alexus Williams!” Callie smiled and opened the kitchen window further.
“Thee one and only!” He smiled.
“How dare you leave me there all alone.” She smiled and playfully hit him.
“I did what I had to do.” He smiled.
“Really? And what was it that you had to do?” She smiled, leaning closer towards him.
“This.” He leaned through the window and pressed his lips, hard, up against Callie’s.
Josh, McKenna, and Alyssa, who were standing in the doorway, all burst out into applause.
“Well,” Callie said, pulling away from the kiss and gently biting her lip, “This is awkward.”
“Yeah, I should go.” Alex said, turning away from Callie and jumping off the brick he was standing on.
Callie sighed as Josh walked up to her and patted her on her back. “That man is always on the go.” Josh said to Callie.
“Yeah.” Callie said sighing again.
