Well, through the sheer irony of things, I ended up having composed another song (this time complete with music, though I won't be putting the chords here), which is entitled
Face to Face, and the song goes as follows:

Like a story I've come to know, as the sun sets and twilight begins to unfold
Somewhere in this world, a new day arise.
Like how the sun sets and rise, so too must things end and begin anew
A flower withers and a small seed is shed.
There is no easy way on this trampled road, which is the journey that we all call life
But can it be with love in our hearts, we can all survive?
If the Earth was flat, we would have never met, but fate had made it so we would soon part
Running and running we never knew why, until we were apart.
Though we won't admit as we continue to run, there's still a hope at that shinning sun
A miracle waits as we'll meet once again, 'til then let's keep our hearts beating and true.
As raindrops begin to pour, tears suddenly come rushing down like rain
I hope that this sadness would never remain.
The story that I found when I first met you, is like that tiny seed the flower shed
It symbolized the hope in my heart that the loneliness would end.
As the season change and rain begins to pour, I feel like things would not be like before
The fallen seed that's found its way into my heart, begins itself to grow.
Though we can't go back to how it was before, I know, for a fact, things will work out for sure
To find that happiness that together we've shared, I'll look forward to meeting you once again.
Since the Earth continually spins endlessly, the world is full of all possibilities
You never know if things will come as how you please, be open to change.
