Wearing Fur - Is it wrong?

There is a lot of hype over wearing fur lately with PETA going after celebrities and so on. Whats your opinion on this topic?

i don't know how i should state my opinion on this matter.
i mean, i am not against hunting and jazz.
just as long as all of the animal is used.
but killin' an animal just for it's pelt doesn't seem right to me.
especially exotic or endangered animals.

Yeah I think it is wrong because they don't need to wear fur. They are plenty of other things for them to wear.

but i guess in my own opinion wearing fur is like wearing a skin with hair of an animal slaughtered for the benefit of getting updated in the trends

yeah,i dont like that it too.
they could just use other materials instead of fur.
it's like a fashion being mean to animals.

I don't think fur belong on humans. It belongs on the animals who are born with it

I say it is morally wrong. Why take the life and skin of another living creature for style? If we had nothing besides that material it'd be different. But wanting for for materialistic reasons is just stupid.

I admit it is practical to use the fur of animals that are being used for other means (food). It's still not right though.

yeah, like when Native Americans killed animals, they used everything. Even their tonails.
