Music Happening - O P Nayyar: One of the moguls of Indian music
It was Guru Dutt's Aar Paar (1954) that brought him fame and success after which he composed for other Guru Dutt films like Mr and Mrs 55 and CID. Nayyar liberally used Punjabi beats in his music which are apparent in his all-time hits including Kahin Pe Nigahen Kanhi Pe Nishana (CID), Mang Ke Saath Tumhara (Naya Daur) and Ello Main Hari Piyan (Aar Paar).
